the first time i met DanSir was on the ferry (was that cruiseship?) to Intention 7.
We sat, greeting each other, and it was an experience like none other. I could never imagine that I could feel so much love in meeting someone for the first time. I felt like he saw the divine in me, the splendid divine, and he honoured that, and I felt so fucking honoured by it - I will never forget it, and am so deeply inspired by it. My introduction to DanSir has been a delightful immersion into the art of hospitality as only this man can deliver. As a host on my visits to Seattle I have been blessed by the comforts and heightened energetics of the Love Temple, singing bowl frequencies and by his toning skills, spiritual texts and mp3's, guidance to delectable places of divine nourishment, as well as numerous equally exceptional beings he calls loved ones. The actual first time i recall encountering DanSir was at Freedom Community at Burning Man 05 where we were in attendance for the CandleOpera that changed both of us indelibly. Since then I have continued to witness a being whose love for life, for strong empowered women and men, community and the Earth that inspires me and makes me look forward to more. Dan, DanSir, DanZen, FireDan whatever name you may know him by, feel priveledged that you do. I met DanSir @ Kings Chamber (Halloween Oracle) while he was toning in his hypnotic, decompression chamber setup right out side of the ticket booth.
Immediately I was drawn to the small circle of sound, especially with DanSir's rumbling, undertone, growl that he is known for. Since our connection there I have been going to his space The Love Temple for weekly toning sessions, along with reading and meditation. I was at a pivot point in my transformation when I met DanSir and he gave me the little nudge along with understanding that I needed to get my ass in gear. Essentially get in gear to just BE, live and Love. I have for some time tried to incorporate and practice S.E.X (Sacred Energy eXchange). Ofcoarse I never called it that and I am coining the term from him, but the fact is I believe in the practice of it and he has helped me realize my potiential in this practice. I feel that just by being in his presence along with the other beautiful beings I have met because of his presence has enlightened me to the realization that, "I AM LOVE, YOU ARE LOVE, WE ARE LOVE, LOVE IS ALWAYS, ALWAYS IS LOVE". Dan and I have been together for 7 years, married for 5, and separated for 4 months.
When I got married to Dan, my mother said at the wedding that what she loved most about Dan was that he helped me to be more myself. Though there was a lot of this during our marriage, it has ramped up exponentially since our uncoupling. His expanding heart/soul/energy/vision this summer has challenged my heart/soul/energy/vision to rise up and meet him. I have never been more mySelf than today, and will be even more mySelf tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow, through continued exposure to his deepen-ing Vision of the unlimited possibilities of Love and Life and Self.
