Recently, I was ridiculed on another ME dance board. I had suggested that instead of running a certain subject into the ground (14 pages worth!!!) that maybe that was a waste of time at that point. That perhaps that time would be better spent volunteering to help brighten someone elses day. Well . . . that didn't go over very well with the little crackers on that site. It was blown out of context and made to sound like I thought the WHOLE discussion was a waste and how dare I suggest that it was a waste of time. After FOURTEEN pages of response, it DOES become a waste of time when there is no other solution than to leave the "Club" that was sponsering an event that was not thought of well by a small hand full of self righteous little cretans!

There are people tucked away in care centers and nursing facilites who would just LOVE to see a 10 minute program. Would that be a waste of time? I, for one, don't think so. Said strumpet thought that she didn't want to help feed someone their Ensure or rescue a cat out of a tree. She assumed that's what a volunteer does. Small minded little creature. Had she had an open heart perhaps she would have realized that 10 minutes out of one day in an entire year doing what she loved (dancing) would have made someone smile for a very long time. But no, no humanity there.

It saddens me to think that a very small number people in the dance community can be so narrow minded and cruel. And even though it is a very small number indeed, these people still upset my day. Being kind to someone shouldn't be laughed at like some little snip did to me. Volunteering to brighten someone's day shouldn't be made fun of like someone did to me. If kindness gets laughed at and ridiculed, what's next?

And if everything works out time wise, I WILL be volunteering at the Stiletto event!
