IKIWIKI is one of the sweetest souls I know. Her vision for healing dance and movement comes from the heart, a heart that overflows to others. Anytime she's around, positive energy abounds. I love her personality, with so many different facets... organized superwoman one moment, squealing pixy the next... :O) Her dancing? Beautiful, fun, expressive - always sharing the different facets of her personality in a mesmerizing way. I feel very privileged to know her and to dance with her!

I'm doing some clean out on my Tribe stuff. It's gotten so big and so unmanageable, I never come here. I'm dropping out of a lot of Tribes that I don't normally visit just so it won't feel overwhelming.
I am still bookmarking all the Tribes I...

I saw it! I saw the end of the rainbow today! There was an incredible down pour with an amazing sunset, and I saw a full rainbow. Then I looked just beyond my neighbor's yard (the neighbor across the street and slightly diagonal) and there it w...

about me
Ikiwiki (pronounced EEK-UH-WEEK-EE), is my inner child. She is a pair of fairy wings adorned in pink, purple, and lime green with eyes that can see into the inner-most souls of children of all ages.
She craves mischief, loves animals, and has a little bit of a dark side that comes out to play in the evenings or during a thunderstorm. She dances on moonbeams, rides the lightening and follows to the end of rainbows.
As a superhero she eases pain and brings joy through movement arts, mostly bellydance and Nia. With her special dancing dust, she makes everything sparkle and glitter with an energy of love and light. She’s infectious, in the best way possible. Ultimately she hopes to change the world for abused grown-up children with movement therapy.
And while she may be small in stature and have a child-like innocence, she is very wise and full of love! She likes to push the limits, break the boundaries, and leave the box behind. She’s creative and not afraid to think a little (sometimes a lot) on the crazy side.
Plus, she rocks amazing stiletto boots and can totally kick @$$. Let’s not forget her favorite accessories – lots of sparkly jewelry, corsets, feather boas, extension pigtails, and eccentric makeup.
I'm doing some clean out on my Tribe stuff. It's gotten so big and so unmanageable, I never come here. I'm dropping out of a lot of Tribes that I don't normally visit just so it won't feel overwhelming.
I am still bookmarking all the Tribes I'm leaving so I can still stay connected and know what's shakin'.
If you, your troupe, your bellydance-related business, or your tribe have a Facebook presence, please let me know. I'd love to keep in touch that way!

I saw it! I saw the end of the rainbow today! There was an incredible down pour with an amazing sunset, and I saw a full rainbow. Then I looked just beyond my neighbor's yard (the neighbor across the street and slightly diagonal) and there it was. The end!!!!!! I've never seen the end of a rainbow before. I feel very special and blessed to have had this probably once in a lifetime opportunity. (If there are others who have seen this on multiple occassions, don't rain on my parade here...
