Okay, so it's finally fixed and dancersdreamland.com is back up and running. Enjoy!

Where's the pot of gold?

I saw it! I saw the end of the rainbow today! There was an incredible down pour with an amazing sunset, and I saw a full rainbow. Then I looked just beyond my neighbor's yard (the neighbor across the street and slightly diagonal) and there it was. The end!!!!!! I've never seen the end of a rainbow before. I feel very special and blessed to have had this probably once in a lifetime opportunity. (If there are others who have seen this on multiple occassions, don't rain on my parade here...) I'm so excited and stunned and, I just don't even know.

Now for those of you wondering, you should know the leprachaun was doing a really, really good job of hiding itself and the pot of gold. I didn't even see the sun reflecting off of the gold. ;-)

And were is my camera? I remembered about two hours later exactly where it was. At the time, though, I had no clue. No photo here, just the blissful memory.

Website Down...grrr!

If you are trying to access my website (www.dancersdreamland.com), please know it is currently down. I payed the company where my domain is through, they sent a receipt saying they received the payment, and now I'm getting messages saying my domain has expired. I have no idea what is going on or how to fix it. The phone number for the company doesn't work and no one has yet to respond to my electronic messages. Thanks to everyone for the encouragement for SOUL Movers first ever bellydance performance. We performed last Saturday at Relay for Life in central Wisconsin. The weather was incredibly uncooperative, causing our performance schedule to be WAY screwed up. Overall, though, my girls did a fantabulous job and I'm so proud of them.

Clank-a-clank -- TO -- Da-da-ding-Da-da-ding

I finally did it! I put my zills on! Let me assure you, playing zills is so much easier when you actually wear them. :-)

My hubby and I went for a walk the other night. I figured this would be a good time to test out the zills. So, I pulled them out of their case, left the baby socks (aka noise mufflers) on them, and slid them on my fingers.

We started walking and I was able to keep the pattern going with my steps.

and-a-1 -- and-a-2 -- and-a-3...
right-left-right -- right-left-right -- right-left-right...
da-da-ding -- da-da-ding -- da-da-ding...

Yeah me!!!!

Next step, dancing while playing them in rhythm. Hey, I'm taking this one step at a time. Quite literally!
