What a surreal week. I'll admit it, I'm a weather geek, AND a news junkie. Imagine the wet dream of a week it's been for me. I've lost track of how many times I've cried this week...every newspaper article or web video or TV news piece has caused tears to well up...just like the tsunami, and September 11, and Jerry's death....Words like catastrophe, unimaginable, and overwhelming cease to be hyperbole and are just the simple truth.

So after quite some time of waiting for a new name to come, one did emerge into my consciousness while I was at circle at the Wolf Creek gathering last month. I've sat with it for a while, and while lost in the full moon chant last week, I again received signs that I was to go ahead and take this new name.
