So after quite some time of waiting for a new name to come, one did emerge into my consciousness while I was at circle at the Wolf Creek gathering last month. I've sat with it for a while, and while lost in the full moon chant last week, I again received signs that I was to go ahead and take this new name.

Turtle was never meant to be permanent nor even long-term...it was a way-station, a pausing point, between Sapphire, who had become overly identified with being a sanctuary caretaker and Nomenus over-doer, and someone else. Turtle was a vehicle, a shell, if you will, that I needed to separate myself from who I was and incubate who I am becoming. After 3 years, I'm tired of carrying that shell around and I'm now
