Yikes! I am once again in crazy, busy work mode! I have the distinct honor of being a part of some amazing productions :) Cirque Berzerk is presenting their first full length theatre\tent show "Beneath"!! It is so exciting to see this production come to shape. Of my freaking blog!!!! Wowza it's been quite awhile since me n cyberland and you lovely folks had a heart to heart. Lots of shite has gone up, down, and all around........Let's see hmmmmm it's time for a list!! ~The Do LaB turned coachella over on it's ass and spanked that betch! That was rad. We brought more sculptures, more beauties, and more PARTY! ~LIB was yet again an adventure of love, a test of strength and patience, and a gathering for all of YOU. Our muses, our loves, our impressive community of artisans and all around freak folk. THANK YOU for your continued support of this project and all it's facets. Oh man, when the rain started falling on Thursday I was prepared for the worst, and of course you only brought the best. Take that mother nature!! In my time "off" ( and i am using that term as sarcasm) since LIB, I have finally gotten the chance to focus some major energy on dance again. Man, oh man it feels really good. I have this habit of forgetting to dance, or choosing not to dance. I know, I know its awful! One would think that given the stresses of event production, moving my body and pounding my feet on the floor would be a first choice, an uncontrollabe action..........perhaps it is, but i keep myself from that release. It's almost that I know it will be that good! Well, that is something that has been recognized and put on the list to work the fuck out. No more am I holding myself and my dance back because I "don't have time", or "am too tired". Project summer is to put my movement, my dance, my life blood on the first responder list to stress, sadness, happiness, what have you!! This crazy life. I am so grateful, so humbled and so excited for what's to come for the second half of this year!!! The Do LaB will be bringin it to Europe, my love and I will be taking a big step forward with our relationship, there is just project after project after project, and I am going to dance my ass into the ground! :) Life is great, and hello mr. blog.........i'm back betch!

Ok, so working with the Frenchy's all week has given me some insight to the culture.....this is what I know..... ~They drink expresso ALL day ~They smoke ALL day ~They eat cheese ALL day (while maintaining silm, fit physiques) ~They bike to work (see above parenthesis) ~They are NOT rude ~They are stylish muthafuckas even on tuesday at 8am ~They HATE italian food ~On fridays they have soju partyees :) This experience has done nothing to dismiss the sterotypes :) oui oui

Currently (and when I say currently I mean my whole damn life), I have been experimenting with my communication and also having courage to fully express what I am experiencing. It seems that at the present I am being more effective and making strides in stemming the tides of miscommunication in my relationships. It can be a hit or miss really. I often am one who makes others feel uncomfortable because of my goal to have everything on the table. At times at the utterance of a different viewpoint defenses are drawn and the rest of the conversation is spent trying to bandage a bruised ego. At times people just don’t want fucking communication. It is fair to say that they just don’t want to hear something other than what is their experience, or simply do not want to do the work. Jesus Christ I know it’s hard. It is so damn hard. This whole communication thing. Being there and open for another's experience. Being unattached to our own experience and our ego surrounding it. It's not easy to look at someone who is saying things you don't like, and trust that they love you, and are only trying to keep your relationship clear of resentment and angst. The flipside of all of this is sometimes communication is selfish, self serving, and oh so self centered. Self, self, self. There is propriety to conversation and expression of experience. A communicator’s intent must be devoid of selfish gain, trying to sway opinion, and not set to their own damn convience and timing. Today I am tired. My experiments with communication were not the most effective, and dammit..... I still take everything so fucking personally. Not being heard or understood is so deflating. Watching eyes roll is hurtful. I want to wear a sign that says my intent is always outta love. Good thing I showed up to do the work. And you bet your ass I'll be here tomorrow........

The week past i took a break from work to watch the sunset and listen to bjork soundcheck all is full of love. With aaron beaming beside me, my love walking towards me, and my people all around me. and it was enough. Times are so crazy that Im filled with gratitude, love, and abundance. I am also filled with sad and longing. I am having troubles carrying on a conversation that doesnt involve work, i am having trouble answering the phone to just say hi, i forget to smile. None of this is for lack of happiness, friendship or love. I am happy. I have wonderful friendships. I am so loved. I guess im just giving a little reminder to myself eh? Cant wait to see all your beautiful faces in the forest!
