about me
There is nothing I can't accomplish once properly motivated. I love a good challenge. I like to build, tinker, create, paint, program, and photograph. I am also a spiritual spelunker and energetic explorer.
A Jack of all trades and master of a one or two.

WildCard BellyDance debuts their new ITS ( Improvisational Tribal Style) belly dance format to the world at the Friday night professional's show in Las Vegas. One of my favorite videos so far, this two camera edit really shows the group work as well as each individual dancer. We had tons of fun with the editing process. Please enjoy.

www.youtube.com/watch Congrats ladies and keep on dancing!
Very thrilled to spill the beans that WildCard BellyDance will be dancing in the Friday Night Professional Show at the 2009 Las Vegas, Belly Dance Intensive & Festival on September 10-13th, 2009. This will be a fantastic debut for all the hard work, new moves, transitions and growth that WildCard BellyDance has undergone in its first year.

Come visit www.wildcardbellydance.com ... to see what I do in my spare time. Its actually kinda fun to work on a website that is not academic (zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz) in nature. Most of my work that people get to see is more programming in nature, (databases and behind the scenes code) so its nice to get back into a more colorful genre. Hope you enjoy it and pass it along. Help the gals reach "escape velocity" with their marketing ... read more

Re: Is tribe dying?

IMHO as a web professional (not associated with Tribe), given the huge competition, the chronic server problems, the lack of updates to any real functionality, the already dwindled community and what looks to be very stagnant growth in membership...

Great Bellies think alike. WildCard BellyDance combined with their official Brewery, Russian River Brewing Company have a night of Belly Dancing for the Cure, every year where they donate all tips.

Re: Cutting Sponge?
(in DIY - do it yourself)
I have had success using a wicked sharp breadknife (the kind with scalloped serrations not jagged), compressing the sponge/foam and using long smooth pulling (not back and forth) strokes. Its best to try to get through it in as few slices as possi...
