about me
I'm shy, but I can be a wild child, too. I love having fun and taking in the world around me. Ask me anything about myself and I'll probably tell you. I'm an open book to people I consider friends. I have a degree in social sciences with emphasis on psychology. My friends either love this or hate this, depending on whether they want to be analyzed. I am a third year law student. I'm a mother, a student, a wife and one-time political activist for my neighborhood. Once my schooling is over, I hope to return to City Hall to yell at my council member some more. I love living in the capitol and may one day decide on a career in politics. In my spare time (yes, I have a little), I like to be my huband's submissive.

What they really think:

January 13, 2008
Darci is the poster child for the saying that good things come in small packages. How they managed to pack such a dynamic personality into such a petite and beautiful frame I will never know. She has an energy that is contagious and a wit as sharp as her master whip. Be for warned that if you enter a battle of wits with this little Sub you may find yourself on the losing side. She is as smart as they come and very well read, however she can be very humble and down to earth with a twisted sense of humor. Her loyalty to her friends and family is beyond compare and I am glad to be lucky enough to call myself one of those.

Incessant Blathering

Eulogy for a Uterus (blog entry) As some of you already know, I have been scheduled for surgery next week. I did a follow up for the LEEP on Tuesday and my doc said we're good to go for a hysterectomy. I went in to the lab to give samples for blood work and have a final surgery c... read more

Re: New to the area (in Sac BDSM) Welcome to the Central Valley! Believe it or not, there's quite a lot to do around here. Glad you found this tribe and I'm looking forward to meeting you at the next meeting.

Re: the "sleep" syndrome (in New to BDSM (Uncensored)) Whether I want to sleep after sex has nothing to do with "giving myself permission." It has to do with how tired I am, whether my partner is ready to sleep and how physically active we were during. Physcial activity usually makes me more awake so ... read more

Re: A couple things to look at (in SF The Citadel) First off... ewwwww. That's beyond obscene.

Second, I don't know. If the moderators/hosts expect this to be a potential issue, they would want to speak to an attorney who specializes in that area of the law. I cannot give legal advice because I... read more

Blog-o-Rama

As some of you already know, I have been scheduled for surgery next week. I did a follow up for the LEEP on Tuesday and my doc said we're good to go for a hysterectomy. I went in to the lab to give samples for blood work and have a final surgery consult next Monday. Although I am very relieved and glad this is almost over with, I am mourning the loss of my ability to have more children. It seems strange since I think I'd shoot myself if I became pregnant again. So since I am mourning a loss o... read more

No one will be nominating me for mother of the year any time soon. I don't bake cookies or do art projects outside of helping them with a coloring book page. Even so, I'm a pretty good momma.

Yesterday afternoon was the second to the last big day of their baseball season. We have a minor league baseball team aptly named the Rivercats. Around this time of year, the local Boy Scout troupes and youth baseball leagues get to walk the field with their flags and banners and the announcer introd... read more

My doctor's office called me this afternoon. My biopsy results came in and my tests were CIN 3 and classified as cancerous. They had said based on the appearance during the test that it was probably nothing serious. It seems appearances can be misleading. In addition, my HPV results came back positive, so even if treatment is sucessful without surgery or chemotherapy, I will have to worry about cervical cancer for the rest of my life.

If the doctor is able to schedule me, I'll go in for a... read more

... about my husband.

I am a pessimistic, negative person. I can easily point out flaws and mistakes. I find it much more difficult to see the bright side of life. So I made it my goal today to list at least 50 things that I loved about the man I have pledged my heart to. I thought it would be hard for me. He's such an amazing husband, friend, lover and person that I didn't find it difficult at all. I finally stopped at 100 because I need to get on with my day. I probably could have kept g... read more
