What can I say that hasn't been said before? Darter is a good friend and a true artist, the images he captures speak louder then any words could ever tell.

Blah, blah, blah. So what if Darter has a boyish charm, is charismatic, articulate, witty, talented, handsome and has great hair....?
Dammit, now that I think about, he really IS that cool. ;) While the rest of us may feel somewhat mediocre in comparison, we are simultaneously elevated by our association with him. He truly is a good man. Thanks for camping with Pentwyvern, Darter. You (and Solange) made a great camp that much better. June 29, 2005
Darter has one of the best eyes behind the lens of his camera. He has a rare ability to make the mundane thoughtful and beautiful! Not to mention he's a great guy!

I'm looking forward to having Darter in my camp this year. I'm always truly impressed with his photographic talents. He has a knack for capturing the emotions from inanimate objects, and depth from his live subjects. Honorable and modest, he's a man whom I'm greatful to know.

He is a very good friend, and a great person to talk with. He is open and Honest, and his photography always brings out the life and joy of the subject matter... his creative spark is astonishing. He is a great artist.

All I can say is Darter has been a wonderful friend, and I'm so glad the Captain and I met him, and his lady! Both are wonderfully intelligent, warm and fun to be around! It is so rare to find the folks that you can be "you" around, but I count him in that crew most definately :) With an eye tuned to the amazing , his photography constanty shows me viewpoints in life I'd otherwise have missed ~ and been the poorer for it. I look forward to many more laughs and conversations by the fire with him and Solange both!

Flat out "da man". So very glad I met him. Have so much in common and the same sense of humor. A rare find. A gentleman to the core...but I can look past that and still see he's a great guy :P A man secure in his thoughts and actions without chest beating. His actions speak much louder than his word and his talents unsurpassed. Ive seen every SCA board on the net and not one can carry his jock, let alone compaire to his photographic work.
Not to mention he's a blast to party with. Looking forward to many nights of drinks and laughs with you my friend. My camp is yours. June 4, 2005

Well, it’s been a long while since I’ve written anything here. You could say life has been really good! Since marrying I have been immersed in this new life. It’s such a deep feeling of contentment, respect and affection that I now know, I truly never knew just what LOVE was before I met my wife. With each passing day the bond between us strengthens. Neither of us has yet to feel under the shadow of the other. We are very, very happy! Also, we still make a lot of people “sick.” LOL

Today we did it! We married a little after 3PM. For weeks now, since August in fact, we’ve been planning on marrying up here in beautiful north central PA. We didn’t tell anyone except one or two people. We just wanted to get married and not make a big fuss or spend time trying to get everyone’s schedule in sync. A simple, straight to the point ceremony is all we wanted. We figure we’ll throw a party in the Spring or Summer when people are all available.

At the beginning of September we’d planned a 6-day hiking trip into some of the more remote and scenic parts of Central PA. The plan was to backpack in and simply spend days relaxing and exploring the wilderness at our leisure. I knew this would be a perfect and memorable time to propose so I spoke to my family about it. Everyone loved the idea! My mother gave me an antique ring that had been in the family for a while, which was a pleasant surprise.
