Well "Earth" was a bust. My own fault really, lost interest in it. The thing is I really like creating graphics. Like in my post entry "Depp makes a new movie" oh sure he did.

liberal, a free thinker, visual, metaphor junkie, I have many alter ego's -=topper=- who is main, earthy, spiritual in self, political, but amazingly balanced, -=stick=- well I am thin and he was generated from a workplace, Well so was topper but then again, a division of a country defined him more, Then there is the venerable, and quite funny, -=Moon Beam=-, Moon sees conspiracy in a grain of sand, talks of yellow flowers and rubber ducks, But is always vigilant in the idea, that in that grain of sand is a grain of truth

Right smack dab in the middle of posts. Advertising makes the world go round I guess.

As told to me by a distributer. I pointed out Harry Potter references on the front page. He says "we don't sell papers when they run that crap".

Meaning, the so called liberal media would sell more papers if they hadn't sold out. Sadly the Pioneer Press is about as corporate as they come. Sold out to a demographic, that by deffonition of how their paper looks now, they consider, well, not very bright. Who buys a paper so they can read it in five minutes? It stands to reason though, if you want to sell papers, sell it on relevant news. I have seen customers at the news rack pass on them based on the front page. I have always said that corporate America is its worst enemy. Instead of competing by following the herd, they should step ahead by having substance. Substance sells papers. -=topper=-
It is the celebration of independance. The celebration of our United States and what it stands for.

But in light of what it has become. What do we celebrate now. If anything. Last year I settled my differences with the Nation for one day, and took out everything at Toppers-Tap except the national anthem and a couple fourth of July graphics. This year, none of that. Business as usual in light of what the nation has become and what it now represents. What does it represent? You will have to ask foreign nationals of other countries that question. Americans still live in a land of wealth and greed and for that matter really do not know.
