Not one to normally post much here. However, I'm still a little stunned by last Wednesday and I though writing it down might help.

Wednesday started well, had a doctors appointment at 10am, so got to have an extra hours sleep in for a weekday and was feeling much better for having spent the week on Antibiotics. So as everyone is asking me about my trip, thought I'd make my first blog post about it.

Firstly it was cold, I'd go so far as to say the coldest place I've ever been. Canada in winter had nothing on this place 1C + ice cold winds, which must have knocked at least another 15-20C out of me at times. A couple of nights I had almost everything I had with me on.
