She's fast; she's bold; she's feisty; she's sexy. All that you knew, and then some. In Cabaret, where Davi has invested herself in this non-linear amplification circuit, fueled by charisma, boobs, talent, creative set (and don't miss the pictures in the hallway), her presence rings true to character. When theater is meant to touch, she's there to play her part.

Watch for Davina in a major motion picture (coming soon to a theatre near you). She'll be stealing scenes as Kate Hudson's hip, whacky sister in an as-yet-untitled romantic comedy.

An astonishingly poetic, moving, and surprising story of a family in Yugoslavia during the war. Flowers. Dogs. Embraces. Kooky taxi drivers. Beautiful images.

My mother's 60th birthday is next week and I've got it in my head that I want to get her a calacas/Dia de los Muertos skeleton brooch. If such a thing exists...if not a book by a Mexican author (in Spanish, not translated) or something else related to Mexican/Chicano culture and Spanish language.

A little bounce around the bush? I'm performing the role of the Beggar Woman in a fabulous new production of Sweeney Todd at Solano College Theatre in Fairfield. It's quite a treat for me vocally and physically and George and my fellow actors are so generous (especially in "Poor Thing") tha... read more

It's called JFK on a Monday morning after an enormous, awesome, fantastic blizzard. The soundscape is amazing, the stage picture a whirl of activity, and the best bit: there's a dessert vendor directly in front of me called "Aunt Butchie's" boasting a logo with a figure of ambiguous gender and indeterminate color hoisting a large pie in the air.
