Sitar Lost and Found

I found a lonely single hair stick. Black with blue/green crystals on the end. Anyone?

BITCHIN

I have decided to resurrect the word "bitchin" I loved saying it in the 80's and I think that it would be appropriate to bring it back. Now, just for claifrication, the term "bitchin" means, cool, fab, great, example: Geish Moth has bitchin designs, or Sarah was bitchin at Sitar Sat pm.
not the meaning my Robert has assigned to it when he leaves his cloths on the floor, example, Ok, I'm picking them up, stop bitchin about it.
Hope you all have a totally bitchin day

Time to Travel

Robert and I just realized we have enough airmiles to travel to Europe. Where should we go? This is what I want, ancient architecture, art , cultural experiences, ocean and a few of the ancient wonders fo the world or could be, touristy stuff..and great food so I am thinking Italy or Greece. Who can make a case for either?

We are going to Egypt 10/09

Sitar Shimmy Shakedown

Our event is one month away and I am so excited and shimmying with anticipation! I like to be as organized as possible and am trying to gather as much information to have ready several days before the event. I will be making all the annoucements and hopefully preparing a modest program with all of your names. Please email me with a few lines that you would like to have me either print or say that night.
Also music, I see you all rolling your eyes, but I would like the music 2 weeks prior as well. I will either see you in class or I will email you my address.
Thanks to my teachers and friends who are coming to perform!

Oh, This is just great

So I spent alot of time listening to music yesterday. I thought I was committed to a piece from Moon Moth Mixes for my full moon ritual in June. I heard a beautiful piece by Incus so now I am thinking of rethinking my original decision. If I don't fully commit to music, I will just have to stand there in my pretty sparkly moon goddess costume and fake it.
I really need to work on layering and should get myself up to Michelle, although Ashley is pretty much kicking my butt on Thurs PM. for two hours. Why oh why must I live so far away from my beloved teachers?

Must focus, must focus, must focus

I am feeling very distracted lately, I think I may have spring fever and may need a pill or something.

Damn it, I just ate another choc chip cookie, I have no control when I am in this state of mind. I will justify it be not eating dinner.

I resolve myself to work today, not think about music and dance (until 5:00, or my lunch hour would be OK too) and to stay out of trouble . I will not shop on line and will use Tribe for only necessary communications like dance emergencies...no, really, that's what I will do.

I have alot to do and am just thinking out loud.......

Dance Sisters: I need your music for the June performance ASAP. Please burn me a cd with just the music you are performing to, in the correct order (if more than one song) and make certain you can play it on two different systems. Also please mark the CD with your troupe name or solo name. I see most of you at classes but you can also give it to Sarah or Lisa and they will deliver it safely to me. I would like to have all the music by the end of May. My plan is to download to my ipod but also have the cd as a plan B. They do have a sound system at the restaurant.

My friend's troupe cancelled today for june and I am really sad about it but hoping things will work out, I will work her in no matter what.

I am scheduled to perform a solo in June and August and a troupe dance in July. I still have to choreograh my performance, master my choregraphy, and have my costumes made. Laurel will be making my Moon Goddess and hopefully my costume for August, still to be determined. I am thinking of something sort of gothy/punky but made with this killer burgandy glitter fabric. I am absolutley commited to the music I have chosen.

I should take a class tonight but i made an appt for a massage instead, what a brat. I was really lazy at work today and just messed around in my office playing music and getting into trouble, I won't tell you what I have been up to, you all could blackmail me.

going to LA in a few weeks for my dad's 80 bday, god he still looks like a movie star to me, so tall and handsome. I love him so much!

I went to lunch yesterday with my lovely glamazon friend Tracy and we celebrated her birthday, I got the most beautiful note today telling me what a cherished friend I am to her...she is beautiful inside and out. and I am the lucky one.

Oh, I just remembered I have to RSVP for a party this Sat...the fun never stops in my world
to be continued
