about me
David Leikam a.k.a. David Bug ...
a producer / promoter (the arts), sense artist (a. v. t. s. t.), visual artist (fine art, design, illustration), businessman (advertising, marketing), entrepreneur (founder / director of the Arts Noticed, tAN), musician (bandleader, composer, improviser), radio dj / manager (at kzsu 90.1fm - kzsu.stanford.edu), and in the audio spectrum (designer, engineer).

He has been creating modern, mostly improvisational works of art in both the audio and visual fields for the last 25 years. He also is well versed in traditional western style noted composition of music. His main music instruments are a mogue R. (Moog Rogue synthesizer) and an Ibanez SR1300 4 string electric bass along with an acoustic piano and hand drums / percussion. He opts mostly for wooden pencil, ink pen, or computer in his visual design work. Writing of poetry and prose styles are something that comes into focus along with other thoughts of creativity with a pen and notebook at close hand regularly too.

He is a core member and bandleader of the several audio projects too ... Agbabian / Leikam, . Pe-eL ., and director of the d.L Trio, Quartet, Quintet, Sextet, Septet, and Octet along with tippo and z_bug.

Also, being a veteran radio dj producer / host with his present show, “In Your Ear ...” with David Bug since Oct. 4th, 2001 on KZSU 90.1FM. David starting in radio at KCIA in late 1999 with The Gospel of Sound and then The Principles of Audio, soon changed to “In Your Ear ...”. At times, "Live-In Your Ear ..." when in-studio guests are present.
