She is like a California roll. When you get to know her, you will see what I mean.

She likes to be just a little early to events or appointments but may make you wait over 30-60 min. the first time you meet. Hmmm... She is trying to figure out if you really want to meet her. On the other hand, after you have gotten to know each other well, if you are late every time, she is gone. Oh, yah, she left me hanging in an airport once. Something to laugh about. I was never too good with time.

Time flows without a feel for it when you are with Mimi-rin. A 4 hour talk will fly like an hour. Mind you, she has an expansionary mind that thinks about different things at the same time and goes every where. That is what makes her a great idea person and also a tough boss to work for because she would stack it up on your desk or email account and expecting a result by next Monday. Her grand father was like that.

A lot of producers that I know do not know what they are producing. Money goes in and money gets big and go out. Mimi-rin wants to know everything first hand before she even considers helping or suggesting anything. I would say although she does not dance herself, she almost has a PhD in her field and plays that role very well.

One person Mimi-rin used to hang and assist selling seats for events was/is AMI (Atsuko Kamata) a professional dancer in Tokyo, a successor of Masami Okada. If you surf her name you will find her spectacular. No one foreigner has come close to her accomplishment in Flamenco. I believe AMI owns her property and flamenco studio in the middle of high class residencial area. I really would like to see the SF flamenco community to work along with AMI. That would be historical.

I believe she was also close to Atlanta Group that performed flamenco in China. Elvis, is a man you should sit and drink some good dark coffe with and stay up all night.
