Pretenders are a theme band, which seek to reveal, they pretended, to compose. They used warrantless surveillance, to make millions.
AC/DC and Aerosmith are unlike most of the ripoff bands, which started from overproduction of surveillance, in the 1970s. AC/DC can actually cover the style they ripped. But they won't be as productive, as they were, when they were doing sticky-fingers sides. Aerosmith just put out a new side. Is it up to the stuff they ripped? They won't be back very often.

See how the NSA is getting a new facility, at Bluffdale, Utah? When another guitar-player comes along for them to rip-off, they will get every riff he plays and overproduce these with corporate contract players. But they don't have that guy, yet. The corporations do have sticky fingers.
They do have BAD CO. The NSA is four times bigger, than the CIA.
So don't pay $150 for a ticket, to see fakers. Don't pay, to download. Listen to the classic music stations if you have to. But that sound won't be back, any time soon. See when Duff/Slash played the Super Bowl. Fergie sticks her butt out at him because he DUPED. There won't be more Guns, sorry Miss M and fans.

Update, to why no more classic or funky rock, with smokin' leads, all ready to blast the paying chumps:If you look at my blog, you will have a clue as to what was happening, at Barrington, as soon as I moved in and started, to play guitar, which was a number of us found out, how we were under enough surveillance, so any jam I played would get picked up, to be made into a corporate overproduction, copied note-for-note, but usually made into several guitar and an organ, to play all the things I jammed.
Bands titled AC-ZZ marketed whatever I played, so the radio just doesn't sound the same, unless you get over to certain channels, which play lots of dupe, like any classic rock channel.
For years, Saturday Night LIVE always featured some riff, which I played, at Barrington or somewhere, so it should be no surprise to people, like Peter Roscoe, how Letterman's Paul Schaeffer used to jam any cover I played, on my linear-tracking record player, after 1980.
In 1989, I went to 27 Entrata Drive, San Anselmo, Pete's Dad's old house, where Pete told me he AND his Mom and lots of other people knew the Stones tunes I was playing for him were not composed by Keith Richard, and despite how I had located a drummer, finally, his Mom's 10 years of employment, with Bill Granham Presents raised ethical concerns for her, if he agreed to play bass, with us.
The drummer just got busted, and I quit playing, c. 1993.
One of the gals who used to walk, in the same areas as Alison apRoberts came up to me and Toni Ratner, before class, 1973, and she told us she knew the Stones were duping me. Rick Garcia also knew this, but the gal who knew seems to have doinked the Stones, when she lived in L.A.
When I went to see a Bill Graham lecture, connected to the pre-Haas CAL business school, staff tried to prevent me, from entering.

The surveillance was Johnson-Nixon mandated, and that is why Bush and Obama signed NDAA and Patriot Act versions, with corporate accessory media, mandated, for government surveillance perpetrators, whom we may presume are robbing the US public, in violation of USCA 4 and all applicable codes and ethics.
