I'm tall and dark and have a streak of
mischief running in the blood. I’ve spent plenty of time
flirting with the darkside. Now I’m heading for the light…
at least in theory. I’ve seen a lot for my age but still
maintain my sense of awe. Most of my demons have been
banished but every once in a while I still get wrestled to
the mat. Hey, what’s life without a bit of the battle? I’ve
still got some punk left in me. Even though I worked a
lifetime in the kitchen before starting my own company
(God,please give me 8 hours of sleep) I still love sharing
simple meals with a good gathering of friends. If the
planets were perfectly aligned I'd spend half of the year
in NYC and the other half here in LA. I can’t imagine not
having both coasts in my life. I’m a traveler…been hitting
the road since I was 17. Now I’m trying to settle down and
smell the truffles. Lately I’ve been feeding some of the
neglected parts, so I’ve have been working with kundalini
yoga and meditation. Yeah, I guess I’ve gone a
bit “native”. My friends back in Detroit
get a good laugh. For my head, lots of galleries, museums
and local music. For my heart.....I’m working on it!
