My cat, Bitty, has had CRF for a while. She took a really bad turn this week. I took her into the vet today and found out that she now needs sucutaneous fluids. She's being kept there over the weekend, at the very least. The good news is, they expect her to survive the weekend, which would not have been the case without the fluids. Her potassium levels are almost toxic, and her creatin levels are the highest the vet has ever seen in his 20 years of experience.
