So in the past two or three weeks I have been Googled and contacted by some people who I haven't seen since the late 80's (high school program in Israel) and early 90's (college dorm-mate). WTF?? I mean I am going to be 40 in 2009 but really, does that mean that everyone is going to be getting all nostalgic on me from now on.....I mean, what the hell am I supposed to say to these people? I haven't seen you in over 20+ years...and your welcome for me not changing my last name so you could find me.. ; ) *sigh* It is nice to know that they are still out there...I wonder if I could find that one guy who I had SUCH a thing for in grade 11......hmmm??

Ya.....I am still very much there. Well, maybe it is the wine (No, really...I didn't have that much) (I really am speling this all right and not editing anything)......wait.... OH...ya! There I was, K--riiiiiiite. So, this one time, at Lake Bronson.....hehehe<giggles>heheshe and then whoosh......BAM!....BifF and POW!!!!!! He really is a sweetie! Very considerate....*sigh* Yikes...but really, we really are doing REALLLLY well!! We have had a few 'talks' (not "that" kind of talk, just good 'ol fashioned commUNikAshun ) in the past 7 to 8 weeks and we are at a place where we are cool with our status as...whatever -you-wanna-call-it (boyfriend/girlfriend, lovers...whatevah) We are STILL very much in the honeymoon stage! I think it helps that we only see each other on the weekends. When one is on the way to see the other, we get alll excited and very giddy and once we git dere, ahhhh izz sooo niiiice! Yea, so I guess it is safe to say that y'all will be seeing more of him...with ME! ....heheheheshe YAY

is the reason I have been Blog-MIA lately..... Ya, well, I have been otherwise pre-occupied, with a boy!! Yes, it is true, after almost exactly a year, I met a reallllly cool guy. His name is Tracy and he lives in Bellingham. (I know, I know, another out of towner, but this one is only about 1.5hrs drive! Not bad!) It is hard form me to do simple things, sometimes. And I get all moony eyed and gushy on the inside when I talk or think about him. We spend lots of time together on the weekends....and WOW, what blissful time it is. l say this ALOT: *Le Sigh* I will report more when and post pix when I can (and if I get any pix!) For now it is safe to know that I am VERY happy! -Giddy, um...I mean Giggles

Burning Man Informational Radio (http://www.bmir.org/), looking at pictures of Playa including the Charred Man, recently posted pix and what is supposed to be a live feed of the Burn (http://qtss.telascience.org/live.sdp which includes some FRS radio chatter!) Can you say longing?? I am doing the Lake Bronson thing this weekend and it can't come soon enough! There is like NO email traffic, I am lonely!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa pathetic Giggles, over.

So, and update: I don't think I mentioned about the whole insurance deal-io: To make an annoying story short, I was possibly not covered when I bumped into an unmarked police vehicle a few weeks ago. BUT, yesterday I got the call to say that it was not my fault and they will cover it. What would they need to cover you ask? Well, the guy who was in front of me in that incident says that he has had to go to the chiropractor since the event. So I met an the insurance guy yesterday who was to look at the car to determine if the damage was enough to merit coverage for his chiro visits. Well, when he had called to ask me about my version of the incident, I told him that there was NO damage to my car. And when we looked at the scene, there was NO damage to his either. But since there was a claim filed, he had to come see it and take photo's. When the insurance guy looked at my car, he was struck by the fact that, there /really/ is NOTHING there! He took photos of it anyways and then told me that things should be fine. Two MEGA-HuGO things off my mind! *Phew* And ever since I got that call, I have felt SOOOOOOOO much better. My mood has lifted, I am not so wound up about going to Mn and other things have been feeling less CraZY! Thanks for all your kind words and support these past few days! I will still need y'all, so don't go away! But you can relax a bit, things are already starting to look up! *BIG sigh*

So most of the folks that I know working DPW this year are already gone....I am getting a little sad. There are many things that I have planned to try and keep me busy and occupy my mind.....but I don't feel like doing ANYTHING lately! I know, I know, there are some things that I have been dealing with: (1) it is that time of year again....and I am not going (2) It's coming up on the 1 yr ann. of the whole Pirate debauchle (3) I am going to Minnesota to see the fam....and for some reason I just CAN'T STAND MINNESOTA....it is making me very anxious (4) I have been very conscious of being single thru-out this very busy wedding season (5) There is soooo much to do....AND I CAN'T SEEM TO GET ANYTHING DONE! UG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have been trying to get myself motivated, do things, get out of the house....WORK even! It has been _very_ hard. Some nights I think, "I am feeling better! I am going to make a list of things and get them ALL done tomorrow!" But, that is always wishful thinking. I mean, I can get some things done, but they usually are not the things that I really _need_ to do.....Ack! These kinds of feelings usually only get to me in the winter, when I can't get outside and do stuffs, when it gets dark sooooper early and we never really see the sun. And when I do get out....it doesn't seem to help carry over into the day/s to come. I really do have such a great life! I have found Fan- f-in'-tastic friends, have a busy social calender, a great house, a job I LOVE (even if my boss-me-is a push-over, hehehe), so.....what do I do???? Le *sigh*

Here it is, tell me what you think??? I have a request to fulfill on off-Playa project. What do I mean by off-Playa? Well, since I am not going, I will be off-Playa and I am asking you who are going to do us who are not a favor: Bring us back some swag!! Here is the basic idea: You pick someone who is not going and keep them in your thoughts while you are gallivanting around in the desert (or just generally keep in mind those who were not able to make the Trek this year). Then when you see something swag-ish that you might have gotten for yourself, accept the gift and take it with on your adventures. Then, when back "on the outside" carry on a bit of the Playa spirit back when you lovingly present it to one who was not able to make it this year! I know of a bunch of folks who are not going this year, so if you come back and need help finding a recipient, let me know and I can help with distribution! Hope this actually works! So....whaddaya think???

I have been goinggoinggoing since before Critical Massive and I am getting tired! I wanna do soooo much, but the back yard is in desperate need of attention and there is just too much to do. I feel like I just want to do hang out at home for a weekend..... ...on the other hand, this coming weekend is SOAK, the Portland Regional Burning Man event. And since I am not going to the Burn this year, I was thinking that I would hit as many regionals as I could.....so I am torn....

That's right folks, ME! Therefore I don't have any pictures to show for the "Outdoor Movie" at the Group Home this past evening. How did it go? Well, the grill got here, the people came and we watched! BUT, it was threatening rain all day and so we moved the outdoor movie indoors. So much for trying to make use of the lawn. Hopefully we will get to try again (between all the busy weekends and all the weddings this summer) before the end of backyard season. Then we can really rock it in the back yard! Ye HAW But as for last night, the rumpus room turned into the pillow room and we all hung out in the basement and watched. The peanut gallery was great! Watching the first one Mystery Science Theater 3000 style is the only way you can get thru such bad dialog (Luke is such a wine-y little punk!) So if you missed the first one, don't be foolish the next time!!!

So, as most of you know, my PDA (Palm Zire 72) is the thing that keeps me together. It is my external brain and savior. I can't do anything without checking it (when I say it is my brain, I mean it.) and I would never remember anything without it. Well, last night I went to Hot Sync the handheld with the computer, and it seems that something had happened to the computer. Most of my important data (wait, ALL of it is important!!!!) was GONE. And when I Hot Sync'd the handheld to the computer, all the info in that was over written and seems to now be GONE! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH It makes me want to take it out back and take a sledge hammer to it!!! WTF!?!??!?!?! I called Palm Support and had to hang up on the first douche bag who tried to "help" me (he really hates his job OR was just having a realllly bad day!) So, I called back and talked to another tech support guy who helped me, at least we thought he did. We imported a bunch of stuff and thought that it was my lost data. BUT, it turned out to be just duplicates of all the info that was left on the handheld. After we deleted all the dupes, I asked, "So, whats next?" And do you know what he said??? NOTHING! That was the ONLY thing he had for me. SO Supposedly that is it and I just get to start over from ZERO. As I said, WTF!??!?!?! I am now late for some jobs (that for some reason did not get lost...hmmm...) and needless to say I am NOT having a great day. *sigh* so much for being blissfullly happy!

I can't thank you all enough for the wishes, texts, e-cards and phone calls. It was such a special day! From the beautiful weather (YES!!) to the thrift store event (LOVE the "new" ones by new "new" place), to the Girrls Spa Night! Sooo much love from you all....I am Vklempt! Discuss amongst yourselves...... Ok, I am better now. But really, you ALL made it a wonderful and special day for me. Especially when I heard that my friend Sarah had her baby!!! Now I will share a special bond with that little one forevah! Going to see her this evening, will post shots of us as soon as the film dries.... ; ) MUAH! to all!!! -Giggles, a very happy Birfday girl!! Ya see, I had planned to go to this dinner party/house party and was trying to convince some friends that they should get up off their couch and come out to meet me. They did come with and, as it turned out, they totally knew the Hostess! Damn Burners! Then the (drunk) Hostess decided we should go to another party.....one where I didn't know if I or my convinced friends would know anyone. But, as it turned out, there were of course folks there that we both knew. Seattle is really a decent sized "small town" when it comes to friends and Burner networking. : ) It was a Fun! Fun! night and I got to see those convinced friends for the first time in a while! Can't wait to hang out with them more often!!! Skating here we come!!! Anyways, I am STILL trying to figure out the agenda for my B-day Weekend....coming up ONE WEEK FROM MONDAY ***(April 23rd!)*** That means this coming week will be prep for it, next weekend is ......(Insert Cool Fun weekend activity here!!!)...... (for all you NOT going to Hawaii that is). We will be thinking of all & toast to you sorry suckas who are out on the islands. So, back to it, what is going on people?? Well, this past weekend was TOTALLY amazing! Recompression just keeps getting better and better. And so do the COOL folks I meet and get to be friends with!!! The KloWNing was AW-some....ALL weekend!!!! We were silly, crazy, strange, funny, totally HIGH energy, FuNNy, did I already say silly!?!?!? Well, we were! I think we made some _very_ good progress on the road to repositioning the perceived persona of the 'KloWN'.
