Refund

Here is a repost--the cost of my workshop was refunded to me by Tonya and Atlantis from the Bellydancer of the Universe Contest in February. I want to be sure that everyone involved in that event knows....

BDUC misunderstanding.

BDUC This is just to let everyone know that Atlantis did call me and she is going to refund me for the canceled workshop. They did come through after all. They very graciously apologized for the misunderstanding. My thanks to BDUC for taking care of this! Linda Brown

I want everyone to know that Atlantis and Tonya of Bellydancer of the Universe Contest did refund the cost of the workshop to me.

BDUC is not for tribal dancers

Bellydancer of the Universe Contest is NOT for tribal dancers--even if there are tribal workshops offered and a tribal judge! I registered for Kajira's workshop on Sunday. I was the only one signed up for the workshop and it was cancelled. I asked for a refund and was told that it was not a tribal event, that Kajira was only there to talk to people not to teach a workshop. I'll bet that was news to Kajira! Therefore, I was not entitled to a refund. I must say that I have taken workshops by Fatchance, Paulette Rees-Denis, and Unmata at BDUC and this is the first time that this has happened. There have also been tribal categories in the competition. So tribal BEWARE! This is an event I will not be attending again.

Drum workshop in San Diego

I saw a listing for a drum class listed in San Diego on Jan 20, I think? I lost my info about this event. Does anyone know about this class?

Zoey's workshop on Sunday

I have a workshop with Zoey on Sunday evening I can't take. I forgot I have to work the next day!! I have to drive back on Sunday morning. Is anyone interested in taking this workshop? Let me know.

My son left for Iraq this morning! It was wonderful having a full house again and I'm so grateful for this visit. My son is an adult now. Of course, he still brought his laundry home! Ah..........well, some things haven't changed! :>)
