i'm a recovering Catholic, a former goth, a lapsed academic, a geek, a slut, and a (former?) stockbroker. my grandfather was in the Navy in WW II. i was educated at an elite Jesuit prep school in Manhattan with a bunch of other hyper-competitive gifted Catholic boys, and at an experimental college in the backwoods of Massachusetts where there were no grades, we all designed our own majors, and the professors went by their first names and made jokes about their strap-ons. i like feather boas, LSD, fire, and long car trips. i like the ocean. i am somewhat obsessed with Hello Kitty. i once asked out my best friend's girlfriend the day he left for the Army. i have a habit of leaving books unfinished. i like music that goes beeppy-beepy-bloop-screech-nnynynnyuuuh. the black kids at my hgh school listened to good hip-hop on the cafeteria stereo. i like the subway. i once got hit in the face with a rock because i thought it was a bag of candy. i was the token male at the dyke table. i grew up reading X-Men comics. i like sex in public places. i drink too much Red Bull. i like Bruce Lee, even though he's dead. i like being a glam diva when i go out. i pick fights online over Star Wars trivia. i watch too much porn. i have a black fuzzy messenger bag. i regret not going on the following vacations: Club Med, Austria, India, and a tour of the capitals of Eastern Europe. i regret not staying in the parking lot with the girl before the concert. i like to dance. stupid people piss me off, and most people are stupid, but i like them anyway. i should have worked harder on the Jack the Ripper project. pot makes me cough. i think Andy Warhol was a fucking genius. i bet Britney Spears likes it up the ass. i will never forget the marching band. i will always wonder what she meant by "anything." i am fascinated by mental illness, alien abductions, surrealism, and the occult. i worked at a Burger King for about five years. i chew my nails. i don't believe in objective truth, and neither do you.
