I saw the opening night of the opera "Judas Cradle' and I thought it was great. Thanks for keeping the edge of the performance realm real.

I first met Ron when I was around 18 years old...I thought he was the hottest and sexiest fucker around....I actually got out of my car while driving down the street, walked up to him and introduced myself ....Like a complete dork...and he was so KIND and wonderful and still continues to be all that to this day...I just wanna squeeze you and put you in my bed at night and tuck you in. You are an amazingly beautiful person inside and out....

If you had to pick the forefather and personification of edginess, it would have to be Ron, a tortured LA artist for over three decades, who was discovered quite by accident selling his pinhole and polaroid portraits at his mothers truckstop cafe in the California desert. Ron's signature images are of powerful Aryan women wearing that aloof, glacial expression all models now adopt. He's always been the master of the attention-grabbing pseudo scandal. He produced famous images of nearly nude women shoving each other into toilets, of women in Nazi-style black boots posing with German shepherds, of a woman in her underwear pointing a gun in her mouth, of a woman with a saddle on her back. His models all passersby in his little roadside universe. Some say his notoriety has tainted him and his ouvre, each year he became richer and more successful till he reached the pinnacle where one finds him today, isolated in a huge empty 5 bedroom home surrounded by squalor afraid to venture out locked away with piles of valuable art and hundreds of millions of dollars but utterly untouchable.
