I have rediscovered my "flow" . . . . I love fire hooping again
I have been out of hooping for a while now. I had some surgery in December, and I didn't really start hooping again until about the end of May. Since Dec I've put on A LOT of weight, I have been out of work for almost 3 months now, and to say I've been depressed is putting it very lightly.

BUT, I went to Decompression 2 weekends ago (for Burning FLipside, the big Texas regional burn) and found my flow again. I hadn't fire hooped well in a very long while, and for some reason, it just ... read more

this weekend was ridiculous . . . a little work and a lot of fun!

memories:
*Friday afternoon in the pool with the boys and their big belly laughs
*Burlesque-ish, and all the fun that ensued after
*the landing strip and hanging out at Hemorrhoid Camp (especially those special boobies)
*people really loving the music I was playing and letting me know

Flipside is over . . . and we TOTALLY WIN!
So, if you don't know, I've been in the Hill Country for the last 6 days . . . it was 100 degrees almost every day . . . we had a LOT of shit to put up and to break down . . . but, it was still my best Flipside experience.

My 1st year was amazing, but I realize now that was because I had very little responsibility and no clue what to expect.
