Started the spiritual journey at the age of five under Shri Shri Byom Shankar Aghori of Bakweshwar, West Bengal/India. Recognized as "Lunatic" by all around from childhood days. Recognized as reincarnate by lamas and parapsychologists. Started practice of kulachara discipline, living in cremation grounds, meditating on corpses, attained siddhi of Anuttara objective practice under Dr. Ramnath Aghori and received the title of Khyapababa (Crazy Father) by the lineage holders of Shri Shri Bama Khyapa in the cremation ground of Tarapith (West Bengal/India), practiced and attained 'Ela' under Mastang Darbesh Shaha and received the title of Darbesh, from the age of twelve to eighteen. Started taking training and teaching of Advaita Vedanta, Shaiva-Shakta Vaishnava realisation, Zen, Shunyata and Mahamudra under Shri Shri Swanubhava Deva in Kolkata, from age eighteen to twenty-four. Received secret sanyasdiksha from Shri Shri Ma Anandamoyee and taken open renunciation at the age of twenty-four. Received the title of Swami Satpurananda Avadhuta from Shri Shri Swanubhava Deva, tricked into tantric marriage with Uma Devi by the Guru and kicked out to live alone and find out originality by the Guru, received the teachings of Sahaja (Existence As It Is) and empowerments by Sri Sri Brahmamoyee Ma (1993-94).
In between, completed graduation in English, studies in Law, personal studies and research in psychology / neurology / physiology / painting and sculpture / Tantra / Indian iconology / Indian classical dance and music. Started material self-support as a teacher in a high school in Kolkata, turned to professional painter-sculptor-designer-museologist-iconographer-Tantric Buddhist scholar-research guide and examiner of international universities and institutes, Guru of Vajrayana / Mastang Sufi / Gnostic / Baul lineages, from age twenty-four till date. Received Kadam Chörten (Heart Essence of Dzogchen) convocation by H.H. Chatral Sangye Dorje Rinpoche in Pharping/Nepal in 2005. Recently, finding out capability to be cool and nice with all shaktis and dakinis (specially Western) for the sake of understanding the nature of Nature Herself. Taking teachings through the Tribe.Net facing difficulty with Western antagonism, restless thoughts and terribly interesting Western dakinis and yoginis!!!
