I'd just like to say that Karine writes a flippin' good testimonial, and I'm glad that Gretchen finally put some up on her profile, 'cuz I think K. was like, gettin' a complex, or something.
And it would have been too bad if she did, because she's just amazing with her painting and her mixed media and her awesome kids and flying sparks and pinhole cameras and stuff.
She is All That and a Sack of Haggis.
That guy she hangs out with is kinda weird, but it's a good sort of weird, more of a "he's so unusual!" weird than a "I wonder if there are any bodies in his basement?" weird. I'm glad she found him.
Thank you, and good night.

Karine is the single greatest and most important verb in English. When I grow up, I hope to transform Michelle into a verb of Karine's quality. Warning: Karine is a powerful linguistic tool, like the true name of God. DO NOT invoke it lightly. Or within 30 minutes of eating. You'll get cramps and drown for certain.

Writing something to sum you up isn’t an easy task. I could start by saying that you are an inspiration to me, but the simplicity of those words doesn’t come anywhere close to revealing the emotion they’re wrapped around or the way you have touched me and helped me become a better person.
Those words can’t tell of how you are a tireless advocate for those in need and give of yourself without question or hesitation. Or that you are an extraordinary mother that has taken adversity and, though Love and belief, turned it into a solid, beautiful foundation for your children’s world. They can’t convey how you’ve touched not only my life, but the lives of so many others, simply by being who you are.
So when I say that you are an inspiration to me, it’s a understated way of saying when I look at you, I see more than just the curls that frame your face, or the eyes whose gaze I love to try and catch... I see all the smiles of those you’ve reached a helping hand. I see the shared memories your kids will cherish as they travel down the road of their own lives. I see the seeds you plant as you walk, growing to trees in full bloom behind you. I see radiant beauty, humility, and grace...
I see a woman whose spirit is unstoppable.
