The toes you stepped on along the way are bleeding. What good is your devotion if its selfish and blind, if you have to hurt others to express your self. If you have to use clout to get VIP status to get close to the shrine.

Why do you feel the need to impress me ? If you do right by your conscience then I know, I see. You do not need to do any thing more or any thing less. I cannot be bribed. Don't try and impress me with your prayer, show me you care through your actions and through your life.
