I aim to manifest a bass clarinet. This may be a rather unreasonable request, but I will manifest this instrument. Whether it be on loan, a donation, a mysterious gift...I see myself playing a bass clarinet. Not too many people know me as a clarinetist, probably because that's not who I've been. I played often from age 9 to 20, and then took a sort of forced break (post facial-injury) to become a more visual artist.
In my current interest of becoming far more fully self-expressed, 'SHE' would like to come out and play again. I have indeed been playing my clarinet, but my ear and heart require a much broader range of octaves at this point...much lower and deeper and soulful. As if I don't have enough going on in my life (HOLY SHIT)...well, I guess what I'm saying is, I want more.
