about me
I'm engaged to a wonderful fiance and am graduating from Cal State Northridge. I like tattoos, Renaissance Faire and psychobilly. Love my friends. Looking forward to getting married. Like to read, go to concerts. I enjoy the finer things in life like hard cider and dark ales. Pirates and Privateers rock. I've recently become a picture whore, since I got a digital camera for Xmas (Thanks Mom). Anything else I forgot.

Heres what I wrote:
Grass-roots effort against gangs
Re "Eyes open," editorial, March 31
Neighborhoods have always tried to combat gangs because the mayor won't. Some paint over tagging even though they risk being killed; others volunteer at underfunded after-school programs so that children have somewhere to be other than the streets. When the mayor ma...

Ahoy me hearties; fellow pirates, buccaneers, corsairs and privateers. Today be the annual International Talk Like a Pirate Day. Today be yer day to talk like a pirate and partake in the fyner things of life. Smartly grab a lass, some fyne ale, grog, port or rum and show those land lubbers how to act like real men and not the lilly-livered, scurvy dawgs that they be. Remember to say a hearty arr to yer fellow jacks. And if any scallywag tells ye otherwise, show them the old Jolly Roger and w...

The funniest thing is, When Eric started dating my daughter (he tells me later) she was really not too keen on him coming along with us to Faire at Devore…she thought he’d find it too dorky, or some similar reaction.
Well, it was totally misplaced concern. We put Eric in some old costume pieces and took him out to the last Devore faire, and to put it succinctly, he went nuts. The guy was ready to sign up within minutes. The bug bit him good and hard.
This year it wasn’t enough to just attend. He went to auditions and scored a position with the Privateers. Now he’s running amuck in the 16th century, he’s up there with Drake and his Treasure Box in the Queen’s show, and the Puritans put him in blacks to go battle the devil last weekend.
Jesus, what have we done? We’ve ruined this kid’s life. Instead of regular sane old Eric, he’s “Bucket”, and he’s high-intensity crazy on the streets. Every February through May for the rest of his life will be stolen from him, and he’ll be eating dust with his beer, getting funny suntans and saying “Good Morrow” to people without warning. You gotta be careful who you bring to Faire, sometimes…
We’re pretty damned proud of him though.

Eric is My sister's boyfriend, and I am so damn glad that she picked him to spend the rest of her life with. He always listens to me, takes my beatings and gives them right back, plays video games with me, takes me to shows, and lets me stay at their house all the time. I already feel like we are related, I hope we will always have that.
see you soon fuck-o.

What can I say about Eric? I had no idea when I met him that we would fall in love, move in together, and someday get married and have kids together. I just thought he was really talkative and funny. The more we got to know each other the more I learned how funny, sweet, smart, caring, giving, friendly, and charming he really is. I am so lucky just to have him in my life, to be able to call him my friend, but being able to call him my love makes me the luckiest person in the world. I love you sweetie, thanks for being you.
