about me
I'm alone in life but I kind of make it that way and I kind of like it, too. Not that I don't want others hanging around, but it often works out that way. I like to meet people too!
I bought a book called Programming PHP, partially written by the creator of PHP, Rasmus Lerdorf. I can just imagine going for a job and someone asks me that question. And I'll know the answer.
This book doesn't have exercises in it, I can just imagine taking a lecture from Rasmus Lerdorf. This book is slightly, but not too bad, over my head, I think it was a good choice overall, but I think to really learn how to use this I'm going to have to get another complementing book, and take a...

I just love the art of David Dees, especially after studying semiotics in my Theater Arts theory class. Analyzing a picture, an advertisement, anything planned, in my opinion, can really clue you into what Madison Ave. has known for decades - how to wound us, or play to our insecurities, and be right there to offer the solution, whether it be a skin cream, men's jeans tighter than your girlfriend's, or that pricey car which makes you feel more masculine or feminine, depending on the trim pac...

I've got a little bit of deciding to do, I'm starting to design a template to upgrade my website, it seems like most websites are built, or rather the best size to design it for, is 800 x 600. But printing on 8.5 x 11 is 612 x 792. So there's a lot of things to think about. I want to have the right mix of good looks vs. if someone wants to print out a page, because some of it will be articles I and others create.
Then of course there's the web 2.0 factor, I also sent a resume to a com...

i think its been 6 months since i first met Garcia. back in april? yeah sumtin like that. anyway, the first i met him he was dead tired. like i was playin pool wit jurun n when i look back i see Garcia sleepin on a couch. hehe. he then woke up abit n drank some pints of beer wit me, jurun, my babyn paul. n that was wen i got to know him.
he's quite an interesting guy to talk to. the only thing i didnt agree was that he n his MAC laptop are one strong bond. personally i dont like MACs. anyway that's not really important. the testimonal is for garcia n not his MAC. me n baby took him n jurun on a lil malta tour at night. (i cant really understand how they could enjoy such a sight since were we took them it was pitch black. but they enjoyed. but believe me, garcia is a man that keeps his word n that he gets tired very easily. hehe jokin man. but it was a realy pleasure meetin you that day ese.
peace out

I must confess, Luke isn't the only one who Tony taught to beatmatch. Back in 94' he satisfied my deepest fantasies and showed me what was up. When it comes to DJ'ing and electronic music, Deepfog is truly OG. He used to fantasize about record players. One time at my TINY Capitola apartment, he thought my stovetop was a couple of turntables and it got him all excited. 'Member that???
He made some AMAZING mixtapes too. Some of my faves ever... He was a pro at punching in on a mixtape (to fix mistakes). I was impressed. It's been a while, but I still think of Tony as a deeply profound and generous fellow.

This guy is a uniquely cerebral fellow, kind with a great sense of humor. Tony is also responsible for teaching me to beat match all of those years ago. So if you ever hear me DJ, Tony's kind of to blame too. I guess he got sick of hearing me trainwreck all of his best records.
