i love claire. that is all i've gotta say

What I was thinking kinda slid away as we stood nose to nose and she, eel slim and twice as shimmery, twice as fast, hugged close. She tossed me around once, scared me like a kid on his first rollercoaster. She's got hunker-down and mean elbowsdance floor stalk. She's got plenty of that good good stuff and she's just shy enough about it to make envy impossible. Never a burden on my lap, heart, or mind she has a knack for bending me painlessly (witness my recent willingness to at least consider dancing to house music) like a wise yogi crossed with a mischievous fairy tale cat. I'd attend the Republican National Convention with her if she told me we'd have fun.

Claire. Just saying her name makes me want to cry sometimes because I love her that much. She is a soulmate in the truest, deepest sense of the word. She has given me a world of love and laughter and sleepless nights spent dancing, talking on the phone, giggling, crying and sharing everything else in between. There's this feeling that bubbles up inside my chest when I think about her and how much beauty she just exudes. I wish I had a word for it... because then I might have a word for Claire. Something to get across how my life has drastically changed for the better since she came along... something for how I cannot wait to talk to her every single day... something for how when Claire is near me, I just feel more whole.

Claire, you are without a doubt, the friend I have been searching for all my life. Who knew all I had to do was force you to come to Philly one summer... and then have all the same experiences as you from then on? hehe.
