There was a boy, about 8 or 9, at the school yesterday. He was studying my work badge, which has a picture of both me now and me when I was a kid. Kinda a 'before & after' thing, so that the kids can understand that we've done all this too. Anyway, he asked me, "Is that you when you were a kid?" I replied, "Sure is. My nose got big, huh?" My standard joke response. The boy, ignoring my attempt at humor, continued with, "So why isn't it in black and white?" It was all I could do not to crack up in his face. I simply answered, "Cause I'm not that old." This is how you know that you're now an adult, regardless of how you feel. ;D
