How to be in multiple places at once? I built this business as a way to do that but it seems time to cut the friendships out of it and run it as a business. The friends whom I've supported over the last decade just seem to bitch when there's not enough work and then complain that i'm not holding their hands when we're flooded in the Spring and Fall. Enough. I'll cut back to just doing the work myself and keep the money. I'm tired of playing bad guy. I want this to be more manageable. I don't want to be a manager. And I can't hire managers if we're only doing one thing at a time.

I'm better at this than anybody else -- that's why it's MINE. Asking other people to think proactively, be thoughtful and not fuck it up seems to be too much for $20/hr. So let's hire labor at $10/hr and not expect brains. Fair?
