Well, here I am. I have been on the ranch for 5 days now, and we just got around to hooking up the broadband. I figured I'd be on the net a lot more than I am. Before I got here, I really did thing that I'd be using the time to catch up on making website stuff, posting pictures and so on, but nope. We really have quite a bit of stuff to do, and as nice as it is to relax and have the simple life for a change, things still need a doin'.

Things are gelling. We had a successful party on the beach saturday, with the Rocket in full bass thrust mode, while keeping within a much more normal and comfy volume than our reckless endangerment mode of Miami 2002. There is a time and place for everything! Lessee... played at a party on saturday, that was pretty cool... had a friend come visit, that was way cool too... have a temporary roof over my head, can't complain about that... been to a few pretty nice artshow/party things, also very cool (think I saw people from here there?)

Every chance I get, I take my eyes off the road and look at the beautiful scenery.

Well, I have to say that my first week in LA has been awesome. I just was driving down the PCH listening to REAL punk rock on the RADIO, and when they went to commercial, I switched over to some station that was playing some Esquivel-esque music from the 60s. I smiled and laughed. Life is good.

On top of it all, I am playing with my buddy Greg from eklektro.net on saturday at a house party in the Valley.
