Okay so the boxes arrived a-ok at my brother's work, so my merchandise is there. Yippee. I'm taking a carry-on bag and my purse ,,, that is it! I feel so light! I have still been working on merchandise though. It is a never ending process. So I will have 5 more Silk Velvet Burnout jackets, 3 more body stockings, and more. Even if they get snippy at the airport and make me check my carry-on, I'm safe. I bought my ticket before the changes. I plan on buying water and a snack at the air...

Well I just shipped two boxes of merchandise to my brother in Texas, so I don't have to deal with all this airline baggage nonsence. He will bring them to the hotel, when we go out to dinner. One of the big bonuses of vending at Yaa Hala, Y'all has always been, that I get to visit with my brother and sister-in-law! And now he is also rescuing me by allowing me to ship my stuff ahead. I also snuck my clothes in the boxes too. So I will be going to the airport with my carryon and my purse....

As of today all of our stuff is now under one roof! First time in a year. Unpacked? Of course not. <giggle> No more storage shed payments! That $200 + savings will probably be eaten up by gas prices, but that is okay too. We hired Cheap Cheap, local movers again. They are the ones whe moved the big stuff out of the other house and over here. We even asked for the same guys. Really nice and very carefull with our stuff. They do it so effortly that they make me feel weak. Next mov...

everything set up for Wiggles, as we did every year. We had our rituals. LOL I was also trying to figure out what to take to vend, while still packing to move to Vegas the weekend after Wiggles. It makes me tired to think about it. <giggle> A year later ... Since the move to the new place, I'm like a kid in a toy shop. All my goodies under one roof again, it has been a while. So in between getting out body stocking orders, I'm trying to finish up some projects.

I just finished a pet pyramid, done in "CleoCATra" fabric. I would say this one would be for a cat. I didn't make a bottom for this one, since I ran out of fabric. So this would fit over a cat bed. It is 23" x 23" at the base and nearly that tall at the point. A little Belly Danc... read more
