He makes me laugh until I cry and can't breathe. He treats me like a queen. He loves my cooking. He can take my shit and can dish it right back. He loves me because I can use power tools, drive tractors, ride motocycles and shoot guns while wearing a dress, stillettos and makeup. He loves that I am independent and secure.
I have met my soulmate.
Saturday I had the shock of my life. He asked me to be his wife. Now we get to move into the next chapter of our life together. I am so happy and giddy. I love this man more than anything!!!!

I was washing our dog, Marley in the kitchen sink and Chris yells something from the other room. "What!?, I yell back ,"I can't hear you!" I hear his footsteps coming down the hallway and he is talking the whole time. He is saying ,"Why didn't you tell me?", mumble, mumble, Kimmie, mumble, Mr. French, mumble". I am waiting for him to make sense and I start to have that weird feeling that you get when something major happens, like when they landed on the moon, you know? Or President Kennedy was shot. Where were you when you heard the news? Kimmie and Mr. French are getting married! OMG! I was washing my dog when I heard the news. Where were you?
My most heartfelt congratulations to you both! You are such awesome people all by yourselves and even better together. I couldn't be happier for you! I love you both! So....when is the wedding? |

Don't worry COG, it's true. There's no date set, but all y'all will know (COG first so he doesn't get a complex) when we do cuz you'll all be invited to the soiree. How could we not share this with our extended family?
