I am going to be going down to southeren Oregon to get my puppy today! I am excited and a bit scared. I have wanted one for a long time now and now it is becoming reality. I hope I am prepared to be a new mom to this little creature.

I walked by some great flowers and it triggered a memory of an old custom I use to have. I would stop in front of those flowers, usually tulips, and then choose the bunch I would go and buy. I don't know when I stopped buying myself flowers, but I think I will soon start again...And then seeing and thinking of tulips, well I just started thinking of kissing. I miss kissing. Does anyone just make out anymore? Remember back in High School when you would go park somewhere, usually overlooking the town you lived in, or in a dark corner of the park and with a boy or girl you had a crush on who actually asked you out or actually said yes when you asked them out. The butterflies in your stomach feeling like a herd of elephants and every nerve standing at attention, just waiting for the first move. The first touch of lip on lip. Learning how the other likes to be kissed, falling into a rythmic patteren. Not being able to hold eachother close enough, busy hands, knowing what could come next, but not going there. Anticipation. Then making those "good nights" last just a bit longer before sneaking into the house, maybe a few minutes after curfew, with your head swimming and your legs a bit shaky. Before falling asleep you replay all the highlights from the evening and fall into a blissful sleep with flushed cheeks and a sight grin on your face.

Remember?
