I first met Toni Ainella in the parking lot next to the Subway restaurant, down the street from the original Perch Theater of Charlotte NC, where I performed as one of the founding members of that group that was variously called The Dead Parrot Society, then the Legally Dead Parrots, and eventually The Perch.

She was a loyal and true fan of our troupe, and many was the time that she threw a party and she and Reverend Ricky mixed up that secret elixir, the Krazy-Eyed Kooler, which soothens and stupfeies both male and female without gender preference. She is also a true Rocky Horror fan, and even travelled to tiny Denton, North Carolina, my mother Nancy Carroll Brown's hometown, just because it has the same name as the town in Rocky Horror.
