Mr. Caracalla has prepared a traditional Arab dance ensemble symbolic of the folklore found in Arab countries around the world. The bond between the people and their native soil extends far beyond a notion of place. Sentiments of nostalgia for traditions lost unite the Arab society, and are manifested through communal activities. Dance, song, feasts, and a sharing of daily burdens reveal the kinship Arabs feel for the homeland, and preserve tradition in a changing world. We will be afforded a glimpse into a culture rich in tradition, where historic customs have survived the test of time. We will see here the vibrant Arab spirit is expressed through dance, calling us to wash our hands of toil and celebrate life.
