Meet the newest dudes in the long line of Brothers Finkk ^_^

   Sun, April 20, 2008 - 6:46 AM
I finally got to pick them up yesterday. Yesterday was quite an enjoyable day, but I'll get into that later, or maybe I won't.
Jenner is the black one and Shiprat is the agouti (brown variegated) one. They're hilariously active and kind of jumpy, but they're males so they'll slow down eventually. ^_^ They're two months old, and Shiprat seems to be pretty large for his age, so I dunno how big he'll be when he grows up. :)
Wonderous little guys. ^_^

So sweet! I'm glad you got these guys, rats need homes too! My son Gabe likes to pretend ...a... lot! He saw your babies, I told him their names and he says "I'm gonna be one! I'm gonna be ShiTrat!" I told him it was ShiPrat!" Either way, he's off pretending to be your rat... ;-D

Pet rats
I remember having one too - it was white & pink eyed.
The kids named him "Ratty".

When he became an adult he had the most hugest of testicles - for his body size! Maybe that's normal?

I discovered what friends mostly didn't like was the tail.

yeah that's normal in male rats to have huuuuuuge "parts" =p hahaha
and their hairless tail is generally the only thing people can really say as the reason they dont like them.

Aw!!! Cute little friends! Wasn't the rat the first one to show up in the tale of the Chinese zodiac?

I will make sure to keep my cats far, far away.

I luvs the little ratties!
Rats are so underrated....they make wonderful pets and they have the best personalities. They're quite individual, from clowny to subdued. I haven't owned one yet but I suspect I will some day! I love those wonderful little guys, congrats!
