"ART is why i get up in the morning... but my definition ends there..." -Ani Difranco (blog entry) I just read Amrita's blog entry about being an artist... and questioning what her artistry IS, because it is not as boxed in, cut and dry as "visual artist"... or "interpretive dancer". Oh, but darling Nessy, we are ALL interpretive dancers, are... read more

"The marvelous thing about the unknown, is that you JUST NEVER KNOW!" -unknown

I remind myself that she is me, too, and let her hard work and dedication to opening be fuel for my own transformative path. I have a feeling I'll cross this bridge to greater authenticity and attunement without even realizing that I was walking the tight rope on my toenails, and then months or years later, I'll stop to reflect and muse to myself, "HOW THE *$#@% did i get here?".... but i want to remember this arduous birth process. The process of moving out of... read more
