So, I went to my first Suhaila workshop yesterday (thank you Phoenix!). Let me tell you, her reputation as a tough teacher is well deserved. I can see how her students would have perfect technique, she really doesn't allow you to half-ass anything. This was good for me, because instead of having my muscles learn a move incorrectly I would stop and start it over slowly. She was funny but tough, saying things like "I can see you guys are getting tired in your upper body...tough! Keep going!...

The experience was great, hubby and I slept on the infamous Rhea of Greece's dance studio floor (with an inflatable mattress, but still), taught a workshop were 35 people showed up (thank you so much Phoenix for letting me show your ITS repertoire) which got extended by half an hour because of popular demand, had 4 private lessons in 2 days, did a 2 hour show with Rhea, the wonderful Melina and a spate of other great dancers, toured the city,... read more

The workshops were great, everything was so clean and well organized; I really have to commend Baseema and *Samantha* for an incredible job! I also got to see the performance and meet one of the best dancers and sweetes people around, the lovely Ela!!! What a joy, we have to put on a TribalMass show and bring more people to the dark side, right?! He He He. So, I went to the Rachel Brice workshop this Saturday...which was all kinds of amazing!! I'm working my tushie off, when I look at the back of the room, and see to girls doing amazingly well, I was jealous...anywayz, I look more carefully at their faces and who are they but Zoe Jakes and Mardi Love! THERE!! DOING THE WORKSHOP WITH US!!
