My fav Tribe writer. The first time I read Dearworld I was perplexed. I tried to read it in sequence and it didn't work for me. Randomly clicking through the archives I felt like I was deciphering a long lost message... putting together pieces of a puzzle which was meant/not meant to be assembled. I hated her and loved her and went back for more.

about me
i'm a rooftop dweller, idler, poetic voyeur. from up here i get a sense of urban geology, of altered perspective. i'm a tiny something amidst a bizarrely vertical universe. sometimes i forget myself and i want to shout to the men working on the rooftop down below - across from where i stand "hello!" and see if for one moment our minds could drown out the sea of limitless repeating buildings all around us, the sea of limitless sound and people and city machinery. for a moment, all the buildings would be erased into white, hidden by snow or erased entirely into a no man's land, where there'd just be me and those men, like people out on the wild west frontier of no man's land, like people out in the shining eternal dessert, lost on the unfathomable expanse of space and time.
