New Sound - New Energy:
Time has a way of changing a person. As the sands of time descend into the lower chamber, so do the creative energies of those who project them. With a career in electronic dance music spanning over a period of two decades, I have seen and experienced much more than the average artist. Widely known as trance dj and purveyor of energies designed towards dance, I've decided to throttle down and start taking in some of the sights of this journey called life.
What you see is what you get:
Almost completely absent of beats, this sound is a more spacial sound that fills the remote areas of not only the room, but the mind, body and spirit. Influenced by artists like Brian Eno, Michael Cretu, Pink Floyd, and The Doors the music is designed to stimulate the senses, not only the body. With modern inspirations like Bluetech, Shulman, Shpongle, and Vibrasphere; my hopes are to be as a creative influence as those before me.
So who am I really?
While my music has been featured on soundtracks, commercials, video games across the globe and he has been involved with both mainstream and independent recording projects; I remain rather anonymous and ambiguous. I remain stoic to not let the ego supersede the creativity and its purpose. Passionate about music and the freedom of creative expression, I see myself as an educator or sage to the masses. Versatile and adaptable to change, it's not impossible to see me playing in some posh lounge on the Vegas Strip or in the back room of some warehouse providing the soundtrack for weary ravers.

Dj? Producer? Remixer? Promoter? Rock star? Raver? Father? Husband? Provider? Muse? Pioneer? I've worn far too many hats to narrow my life into the paragraph of a few phrases. So your best bet is to just get to know me. I usually have no problem dropping truth on those who seek it. Just ask me anything and you'll likely get an answer. In an excursion to Burning Man in 1996, I found myself spiritually and have been reluctantly surviving in the default world ever since. I often subject myself to random self-imposed exiles as a means to regain focus. My most recent - a place that is the vortex of human condition - Las Vegas, Nevada. In my travels I've encountered many souls and had the privilege to enlighten a few as I go along. I now reside in Ocean Beach (San Diego), California where I've opted to lay low and enjoy the fruits of my labors by surfing daily and doing absolutely nothing.
Well, it seems that I'm back on Tribe. Words of advice: don't lose your password and when you change your email addy. Change it here, too. Anyway here's a bit more info about me. I'm generally the same person as I was when I started this account so enjoy.
I'm originally from San Diego, California where I was heavily involved with the rave scene there. Since 1992, I've dedicated my life to the pursuit of personal bliss and the soundtrack that ensues it. Which ironically, my epiphany of existence happened in Kowloon, Hong Kong. Since that magical night on June 22, 1992, I have worn many hats when it comes to electronic dance music. Raver, flier-bitch, dj, promoter, producer, teacher; I've done it all.
Music has never abandoned me and through the years, I've learned that most of everything is temporary. Your wonderful family can be taken from you. That great job, gone. The big house, nice car, money stacked away; all of it can be taken with a blink of an eye. Music is universal and it's the one thing that (since my youth) has never left me or let me down. So I've dedicated my life to the one thing that has continually given me happiness over the years.... Music.
Right now, I'm limiting my gigs to select gigs for people that truly understand it's power and how I deliver it. I've thus begun to really embark in the production of electronic dance music. While I love hardware, the readiness and availability of software allows me to compose my music. I've embraced technology with full force.
It seems that supply and demand can easily be replaced with ebb and flow. I'm prone to self-inflicted exiles and my most recent was in Las Vegas. For as much opportunity there is there, it is sadly a place swelled in it's own super-ego. I've met some cool people there but I'm not competitive on that sort of level. While most are looking for their "15 minutes of fame" there, I'm looking to just have fun doing what I do. I took a stab at trying to help a wounded scene and what I got in return was was unfathomable.
Anyway, with that said, enjoy your stay here in my world and hope to see you in the cosmos.

So last night, I had this dream that I was doing audio for The Doors, complete with Jim Morrison on stage. It was the most surreal experience ever. During the concert, I remained side-stage Jim would sing several of the songs they were known for. I noticed a violin sitting on a stage riser box nearest me. Trying to focus on it through the spotlight and cloudy haze, Jim Morrison catches me eyeballing it and motions me to it.
