The bike fix-a-thon

We will be doing repairs on the nieghborhood kids bikes. Mostly fixing flats and brakes. tuneing shifters and trueing wheels.

We could use some help.

I chomped on a $10 burger at the brickhouse on brian street today for lunch. It was called the "big ass burger" on the menu.

Total burger coma, brain no worky to good today.

Left my house at about 6:45 pm on thursday night. I had a camel back with tools, a lightweight sleeping bag, and a first aid kit.

I took the henness pass trail (dirt road)over the sierra's.I have taken this route before so riding it at night was not a big deal. I hit an owl, he flew out of a tree and bounced off my helmet. I think the owl was ok he did not hit me that hard. I was averaging about 35mph according to my gps, which soon cut out and stopped working.
