about me
I have been a fast food cashier, a college student, a phone researcher, a maintence guy, a shop laborer, a Roadie / Tech, a warehouse manager, an ID Checker, a ride attendant, a home remodeler, a roofer, a painter, an electronics technician, a supply person, a QA inspector, a Database administrator, an Armed Guard, A Coffee Shop Asst. Manager, An Inventory control specialist, a Logistics Manager and a friend.

I have cheated, been cheated on, lied and been lied to, I have had my heart smashed a thousand times and smashed a few myself, I have circled the globe and played golf in the desert, I have been at sea at months at a time and I have not seen water in days. I have camped in the snow, in the desert and on an island. I have hiked in mountains and driven though about 40 states of the continental US. I have had some of the most scariest initmate moments and have gone years without any intimacy. I have been single, I have been married. I have loved with all my heart and I have lost everything that was dear to me. I have been evicted, foreclosed on, yet have had all my bills paid and 6 months of pay in the bank. I have been up and I have been down. I have gone through life with out a friend to talk to and I have had more friends than a man truly deserves.

All this and more...

My Blog

In the past few days since I have back, one of the things I observed in the difference between people (and there is an infinite amount of differences) is the Peace Vs Chaos.

Generally found in the younger and younger thinking, is the seeking out of chaos. They are pretty easy to point out. They tend to find things that are mundane or repetitive annoying. They actually outwardly say that they are bored, and they tend to seek new thrills and new adventures.

Peace seekers tend to be the ol... read more

This ain't my first rodeo, but each time it feels like it is.

As completion of the top secret projects at the Burning Hand secret lab - Opus Mephitidae, I have a little time to reflect.

Here is a list of things I have learned through my limited experience as a Pennsic attendee:

1. No matter how far ahead you start or plan, you will end up behind and trying to finish things last minute.
2. All hell seems to break loose prior to leaving (Car problems, money problems, scheduling issues... read more

THE CLOCK IS TICKING!!!

I think all the people on my friends lists and who read this have been to Pennsic quite a few times. But, here's a quick planning guide. It's nice to review to make sure you didn't forget anything, no matter how "experienced" of a Pennsic goer you are.

1. Follow the money - Make sure to figure out your travel costs there and back (particularly back). It's best to ensure those funds are set a... read more

As for my political ranting, I either keep it to my blog posts (so you have to choose whether you read it or not. Not having to have it thrown at you in a thread.)

So, here's my opinion of the still p... read more
