A lifelong student of various dance forms, Jordan (aka /diva/null) has focused on bellydance for several years. She has studied everything from traditional middle eastern styles to American Tribal Style to experimental tribal fusion. Currently she is studying gothic tribal fusion with the highly-regarded and innovative Sashi of Ascend Tribal Dance. She credits her first instructor and PURE Traverse City facilitator Amira (Merrie) with inspiring her passion for bellydance.

Jordan is the co-facilitator of the newly-formed Los Angeles branch of PURE ~ Public Urban Ritual Experiment. PURE is a collective of dancers and musicians which performs in effort to promote peace, healing, and awareness within the performers and their community. PURE has several chapters throughout the United States and in Japan, each with their own causes and vision. Jordan's involvement with PURE is the counterbalance to her dark side, representing her embrace of paradox and her belief that everything and nothing are one.

Also an activist, she lends her time, skills, and voice to wildlife rehabilitation, oil spill response, environmental campaigns, and bringing awareness to global concerns such as the ongoing genocide crisis in Darfur.
