A transplanted decendent of Miami Bass, Baile Funk specializes in a particular way of flipping mainstream samples. Classic bass tracks have copped themes from children's cartoons to Bruce Springsteen... all with a certain disregard for the original meaning and context. When it comes to lighting up a party, this is a powerful thing. In his Marco Poloesque approach to the Brazillian ghet... read more

Baby Daddy: provider of the hotmix. Not responsible or chaste enough to worry much about smooth blends, the mixing is like his driving… a lot of sharp corners at high speed. Hip hop accapellas blast over acid squelch and Baltimore breaks. German and Italian electro-pop. Prince...and Mac Dre. Baby Daddy. It just don't stop.
