Dimitriy aka Dj Demi (Dharma Kshetra Production/Pooja Group/Vertigo Family(Moscow)) strated his dj life-style since 1997 with alternative sets of rock, disco, funk, jazz @ the local club "2 Captains" in Simferopol/Ukraine, - where he was born in 1977.
It took him 3 days to visit a proper trance party made by XP VooDoo(Aerodance Corp) at the Summer Festival Kazantip (1998) to clear out that it was exactly psychedelic music dj Demi wanted to perform. Amazed with the free spirit and the energy people radiated at the trance events at Z - Demi started going to Moscow for almost every gig by Aerodance.
The first parties organized by Demi and friends were made under the name - Yellow Dharma Group, which was free of any particular rules or regulations - anyone was a part of the Group if he/she was somehow involved into organizinig a trance gig, with specific theme decorations, friendly atmosphere and psychedelic trance, of course*)
At the end of Millenia the parties started to pop up across Crimean Peninsula - in Yalta, Sevastopol, Evpatoriya - it was a collaboration of many djs, dancers and designers mostly during the Summertime seasons.
In Crimea under YDG & later Pooja Group Demi organized many parties with famous Russian artists and djs - Demos(Artfreaktion/Moscow), Nowhereman (Vertigo rec/Moscow), Sashi(Aerodance), Stas-On(Special Ppl), Tony Lizard(Glook Around/Vertigo rec), Overlap Project, Monifold and many others. Some of the parties were conducted in clubs; but lately, due to the picturesque scinery of the Crimean land abundoned in mountains, forests, rivers and the Black Sea, most of them are open-air parties , known for their creative free spirit and positive energy.
He performed numerous sets at almost every Kazantip Festival, since the year 99.
Demi and his family - Alina and Amrit have travelled to Goa many times, where Demi performed sets at the legendary sunset places like - 9 Bar, Paradiso, Prim Rose, Curlies, Loughing Budda and parties at the Banian Tree(Hill Top), Arambol Bch. Those parties were in collaboration with famous stars from all over the world - Alien Project, Psy Sex, Space Cat, Z Machine, XP VooDoo, Salakavala, Dominator, Dj Teo and many others...
Had a chance to dj for thousands people on the parties in Moscow at - Proton Club(the last official Aerodance party in Moscow, 2002), Cosmoport, Art Center(Talamasca Party), as well as private partys.
Since 2002 Demi moved to Florida, USA where the desire for being in trance has not expired and collaboration with dj Arjuna lead to cozy friendly psy-trance partys and a recording label - Dharma Kshetra Productions.
While travelling to New York Demi met there lots of wonderfull people from Omni Tribe Crew who organized Omnitribe festival @ the original place of Woodstock - Ecolake, Upstate New York. To play at the fest was a big honour.
In april 2006 Arjuna and Demi were working on releasing qualitive and interesting psychedelic tunes. The first release on 4-20-2006 is a compilation called Nykto - what means "night" (Greek l) - pure night time energy music to deliver you on the next level of Conscoiusness!
In 2006 dj Demi had a wonderfull chance of performing a chillout set @ the Gaian Mind Festival, Philadelphia(USA).
Since 2006 dj XPulse has joined Pooja Group for a creative cooperation. He was among the first trance djs in Crimea, now he continues his dj career in New York.
Year 2007 was very rich in dj perfomances and co-operative work. Demi was involved into promotion of the new electronic music night dance club - Cobra in Simferopol, Ukraine. The following Summer started off with a successful Magical Dew 2 day Open Air Fest by the beautiful lake near Bahchisaray Village in the Crimean Mountains region. There was a couple trance parties @ Simeiz, participation @ Space of Joy Trance and Art Fest @ the Sollar Valley, Ukrainian Trance Fest @ Solnishko, Liquid Beach Fest @ KaZantip, Crimean Trance Fest @ Club 117(Feodosiya), featuring world stars like Infected Mushroom and Skazi. This year was also rich in small private parties in the woods and wild nature of Krim.
Since Demi had to acomplish a school of massage which he started in the begining of 2007 and graduated successfully december 21st at the same day when he turned 30 years old and it it was also a day of Winter Solstice. Synchronicities were peaking this year. By the end of 2007 Demi was accepted to Vertigo Records Family, based in Moscow, Russia. Being part of international record label expands musical abilities and possibilities. In Trance we Trust!
