This past Saturday, January 13, 2007, Mom died. She'd had a stroke almost 3 years ago, and developed Multi-Infarct Dementia. She kept having "mini-strokes" since then, and her health and mental well-being declined. It truly was a blessing that she finally passed awy; she couldn't do the things she used to love: walk, go out to movies, concerts and the theatre, knit, sew, embroidery, play the piano or even something as simple as change the channel on a T.V. or use a phone.
